The future of international and Polish domain markets

The biggest meeting of the Polish domain industry took place on 16th April in Warsaw at the “Business Trends in the Domain Industry” conference, organized by NASK. The meeting was attended by the representatives of leading companies registering domains in Poland, domain investors from Poland and abroad and a group of lawyers specializing in the topic of domains. Other participants of the conference included guests from abroad representing both national registries of internet domains (among others: Austrian .AT, Dutch .NL, Czech .CZ, Swedish .SE) and global ones (.MOBI, .TEL, .BERLIN), as well officials representing the European Commission and ICANN.

CERT Polska takes part in the FISHA Project

Since March 2009, the CERT Polaska team (operating within NASK) has been taking part in the 2-year EU project called FISHA (A Framework for Information Sharing and Alerting). The main objective of the project is to develop the prototype of the EISAS (European Information Sharing and Alerting System)—a pan-European system for sharing and accessing information on computer safety as well as alerting to risks on the Internet.
