On September 16th 2005 the first data transmission using a wireless radio system in the licensed band of 3.6 - 3.8 GHz took place in Warsaw. By utilising radio technology, NASK will have their own access structure to enable provision of telecommunication services, independently of customer locations.
E-¶wiêtokrzyskie – construction of a radio network
A contract between the ¦wiêtokrzyskie Voivode and NASK, which starts the development of wireless internet access network in ¦wiêtokrzyskie voivodship, was signed on September 12th in Kielce. The project shall be executed with the financial support from UNITY FUNDS within the framework of Integrated Operational Regional Development Program.
