On 8 February 2005, Safer Internet Day was celebrated by more than 50 organizations in 27 countries across the world from Australia to Iceland, from Russia to Singapore. In Europe, events were held under the patronage of Viviane Reding, Member of the European Commission responsible for Information Society. In Poland, Safer Internet Day was initiated by NASK and Nobody.s Children Foundation. |
