NASK wins tenders and signs new agreements
The National Defence Academy and the Regional Public Polish Radio Station in Opole "PRO FM SA" are NASK’s new customers. Having won tenders, NASK provides both institutions with access to the Internet. The National Defence Academy uses a 10Mbps link, and the Regional Public Polish Radio Station in Opole "PRO FM SA" has a 2 Mbps connection.

NASK provides access to the Internet with its own networks: the national backbone NASK-WAN and the Warsaw metropolitan area network WARMAN. NASK has direct access points with major domestic and international Internet operators. It offers fast and reliable, high capacity Internet connections. Apart from classic Internet access services, NASK also provides domestic and international traffic transit services based on the BGP protocol.

The National Defence Academy (Akademia Obrony Narodowej, AON), the leading university of the Polish Army, teaches students and conducts its own research activities, mainly for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland. AON also trains civilians, e.g. members of the Parliament, state and local administration in state defence issues.
