Research interests: artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, modelling and simulation, clouds and computing clusters
She is a professor at NASK-PIB, serving as the Chair of the Polish section of IEEE CIS and representing NASK in KIS10. Her main areas of interest include cloud computing, data sciences, and artificial intelligence methods, particularly machine learning methods. Prof. Kołodziej is an author and co-author of over 200 scientific papers in the discipline of Technical Informatics and Telecommunications, manages international research projects (in recent years, GUARD and Digital4Security), actively participates in scientific conferences (Programme and Area Chair at A+ and A-ranked conferences, recently Supercomputing Conference (SC18-SC23)), and is also involved in the work of editorial boards of the best journals in the world, e.g., ACM Computing Surveys. Prof. Kołodziej serves as a mentor and scientific supervisor for young researchers and doctoral students, in addition to being an evaluator of grants in national and international programmes (NCN, NCBiR, Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, ERC).
